Today I spent the day with members of the Association of Creative & Print Managers in Education (ACPME) for their ‘Creative Climates’ Virtual Event. I have to say they are a fantastic group of professionals from all over the UK and guests from overseas who all share a common goal. The virtual event enabled them to come together, share ideas, discuss common challenges and how to overcome them. There was a real sense of purpose, passion and positivity, it was great to see.

ACPME bringing you an exciting programme of online events throughout 2021
Who would have thought when watching Boris a year ago telling us we all needed to stay at home, that a year on we would only just be emerging from Lockdown – with our fingers-crossed for the future?
Despite the restrictions, the ACPME Board have been able to meet virtually on a regular basis, and building on the success of the virtual conference in December, are planning an exciting programme of online events throughout 2021.

Every member’s attendance at our online events programme throughout 2021 is crucial to ACPME’s success, as we need our sponsors’ support to thrive. The ACPME Board
No two institutions are the same. Nor are any two of our member’s units. While the activities and influence of individual ACPME members vary greatly, we share common goals of keeping funds on campus, saving our institutions money and best supporting the core activities of learning, teaching and research.
There’s a tremendous camaraderie that defines our dynamic network. We meet regularly to share insights and to raise awareness of the depth and breadth of our interests. We attend trade shows together, visit each other’s inplants and celebrate successes every year at our Annual Conference.
Perhaps most importantly, we’re there for each other. Issues with suppliers, struggling to write tender evaluation criteria, thinking of offering a new service – you name it… candid help from experienced professionals is only ever an email away.
