An important message to our members and valued suppliers. Save the dates.

The ACPME Board have taken the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Conference and Awards Ceremony, currently scheduled for 1–4 November to 23–26 May 2021. This is an unprecedented move in the history of the membership, and I want to reassure you that we do this with the welfare of the ACPME members and suppliers front of mind.

Please note that the awards scheduled for 2020 will now be considered for 2021. The awards submission timescale will cover a two-year period from April 2019 – Friday 26 March 2021.

Our annual conference is such an important event for the membership, so we don’t want to wait until 2021 for the opportunity to bring us all together.

I am delighted to announce that we are holding our first virtual event, Creative Climateson Tuesday 1 December 2020 from 10am – 4.15pm. We are looking to include the following in our programme:

  • Inspirational online talks from industry speakers and members
  • Training sessions
  • Supplier showcase
  • Online networking
  • Covid-19 Special Awards ceremony

Our Board have been meeting on a weekly basis to navigate these difficult times for our association and will continue to do so to shape the content for this programme. We want to ensure that you all have a fantastic experience – coming away inspired with new ideas, contacts, and the chance to share common challenges and celebrate successes.

Given that this is a virtual event we hope to meet as many of you as possible, it is free of charge to all members – so all you need to do for now is save the date!

In the meantime, keep attending our regular virtual meetings. There’s never been a more important time to stay in touch.  We’re stronger together.

Best wishes,

Ali, and the Board of ACPME Directors

Welcome to ACPME. A dynamic network of creative and print managers from the UK Higher and Further Education sectors.

No two institutions are the same. Nor are any two of our member’s units. While the activities and influence of individual ACPME members vary greatly, we share common goals of keeping funds on campus, saving our institutions money and best supporting the core activities of learning, teaching and research.

There’s a tremendous camaraderie that defines our dynamic network. We meet regularly to share insights and to raise awareness of the depth and breadth of our interests. We attend trade shows together, visit each other’s inplants and celebrate successes every year at our Annual Conference.

Perhaps most importantly, we’re there for each other. Issues with suppliers, struggling to write tender evaluation criteria, thinking of offering a new service – you name it… candid help from experienced professionals is only ever an email away.
