Welcome to ACPME
Today I spent the day with members of the Association of Creative & Print Managers in Education (ACPME) for their ‘Creative Climates’ Virtual Event. I have to say they are a fantastic group of professionals from all over the UK and guests from overseas who all share a common goal. The virtual event enabled them to come together, share ideas, discuss common challenges and how to overcome them. There was a real sense of purpose, passion and positivity, it was great to see.
It took a huge amount of effort by the ACPME team to make today a reality, and it was a privilege to be a small part of it and present on ‘connecting, optimising and automating central communications’ on behalf of Konica Minolta as one of the sponsors.”Jon Hiscox
We hope you enjoyed ‘Creative Climates’ virtual event and save the date for Belton Woods 2021
Our annual conference is such an important event for the membership, we didn’t wait until 2021 to bring us all together. We held our first virtual event, Creative Climates, on Tuesday 1 December. It was an uplifting experience and delegates – from across the UK, USA and Canada – came away inspired with new ideas, contacts, and the chance to share common challenges and celebrate successes.
Congratulations to our 2020 Covid-19 Special Awards winners.
We are grateful to the events generous sponsors (below) and delighted with their overwhelming feedback – such as Jon’s (left).
Save the date for the 2021ACPME Conference and Awards. It’s 23–26 May 2021 at Belton Woods. Please note that the awards scheduled for 2020 will now be considered for 2021. The awards submission timescale will cover a two-year period from April 2019 – Friday 26 March 2021.
Keep attending our regular virtual meetings and posting on the members’ forum. There’s never been a more important time to stay in touch. We’re stronger together.
Ali, and the Board of ACPME Directors
Welcome to ACPME. A dynamic network of creative and print managers from the UK Higher and Further Education sectors.
No two institutions are the same. Nor are any two of our member’s units. While the activities and influence of individual ACPME members vary greatly, we share common goals of keeping funds on campus, saving our institutions money and best supporting the core activities of learning, teaching and research.
There’s a tremendous camaraderie that defines our dynamic network. We meet regularly to share insights and to raise awareness of the depth and breadth of our interests. We attend trade shows together, visit each other’s inplants and celebrate successes every year at our Annual Conference.
Perhaps most importantly, we’re there for each other. Issues with suppliers, struggling to write tender evaluation criteria, thinking of offering a new service – you name it… candid help from experienced professionals is only ever an email away.
