About the 2024 theme: Collaborate. Communicate. Create.

Collaborate

Effective collaboration is essential for our teams to get things done, on time, on budget and on brief. Collaboration within our own internal teams, across our universities and with external partner stakeholders is critical to delivering top class projects and campaigns.

Our collaboration enables: procurement teams to award contracts to the most appropriate creative and print related suppliers, our estates teams keep people safe and to work towards institutional sustainability targets, our marketing colleagues to attract visitors and to ensure they leave our campuses with the right impressions in mind, and provides our acadmics with the resources they need to deliver first-class teaching.

We must collaborate.

Communicate

Producing effective visual communications is what unites us. Engagement with prospective students, sharing important messages with staff, producing clear exam scripts, or appealing to our alumni for donations – everything we do is to communicate a message.

Our in-house teams look for innovative ways to deliver our communications clearly, consistently, and most attractively, while providing best value. Whether it’s adding metallic inks and unique finishes, crafting engaging copy or creating captivating photography for our innovative designs, our role is to reach our institutions’ target audiences in the most effective ways possible.

To work efficiently we need to communicate with each other. We need our jobs to flow seamlessly, in a well-designed and effective workflow that means both staff and technology communicating for maximum impact.

Create

As Universities we create life changing experiences for our students, and ground-breaking research that helps to change and improve the world we live in. To create, is to produce something new, imaginative, and unique, it is a journey of transformation that bridges the gap between design, print and photography, with each contribution we have the power to innovate, inspire and impact the core values of our institutions.  

We’re in this together

Amidst the cost of living crisis people are having to make tough financial decisions. Funds have to go further, and as teams we are having to demonstrate our value like never before. As pivotal cogs within large institutions, we are all working with colleagues who are also facing challenges. We need to support them in their roles and cultivate collegiate working. Within ACPME you are part of a broader family. Across our network you have a plethora of encouraging peers and dedicated suppliers with whom to share best practice and fuel positivity. 
 
As part of ACPME you are never alone. We’re in this together.

Back to work today after an amazing 4 days at the ACPME conference. I went to it very sceptical thinking it wasn’t for me as a designer …. I was very wrong!

What’s Included:

3-night Conference Package includes access of all Conference sessions with tea/coffee during the breaks and lunch, as per the programme, 3 nights’ dinner, bed & breakfast accommodation (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday) including entertainment and drinks packages, where applicable.

2-night Conference Package includes access of all Conference sessions with tea/coffee during the breaks and lunch, as per the programme, 2 nights’ dinner, bed & breakfast accommodation (Monday and Tuesday) including entertainment and drinks packages, where applicable.

 Day Delegate – 1 day package is based on attending either Monday OR Tuesday and includes access of all conference sessions, tea/coffee during the breaks and lunch.
