The judges said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis team were particularly proactive in the Pandemic. They considered all options to stay in profit, whilst having lost half of their team. They ticked all of the category criteria.<\/span><\/p>\n

They relocated to cut costs and overheads, they restructured and looked at what could be done to improve the business. Through investing in virus-resistant film coverings and equipment they helped make the campus safe while saving \u00a318,000. They regenerated 8 areas of the university with new graphics. They reviewed the University\u2019s sales of merchandise to bring graduation products in-house. They introduced a new ePos system. And what\u2019s truly remarkable is they had a27% higher income than in the last pre-Covid year.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis team adapted well during Covid to carry on making films and to promote face-to-face post-Pandemic activities. They diversified as a team \u2013 looking for business opportunities, for instance creating new student revision guides, filming research activities, taking 360 degree photography to promote exploration of the campus, and making films to secure both research funding and promotion of sports.\u201d<\/p>\n
