Jonathan Walters – Creating impactful video for social media: A masterclass
Jonathan Walters: Web and Digital Manager, Loughborough University
Jonathan leads a team of award winning digital professionals within Loughborough University’s Marketing and Advancement department. Covering web design and development, content creation, digital engagement, social media, video and photography, the team have been responsible for the delivery of a large number of high-profile projects including #IAMIN, the 2016 ‘Gameplan’ clearing campaign, LboroGrad as well as driving forward the digital development of Loughborough’s undergraduate and postgraduate prospectuses. Jonathan has 10 years’ experience in higher education marketing and has been working in the web and digital environment for over 20 years.

Ian Wilcox – Diversification into flatbed
Ian Wilcox: Print Centre Manager, University of Southampton
Following up on his feature in ACPME Pages Issue 1, Ian will discuss how the University of Southampton’s large format business has grown and his approach to running one of HE’s largest in-house print units.

Julie is passionate about unlocking the potential of individuals and teams and developing people to be at their best. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is an accredited coach and uses the Go MAD Thinking methodology to provide a proven and successful approach to achieving results.
She has worked in learning and development for over 20 years and has also run her own successful business giving her a great understanding of people and the commercial aspects of business. Her insight into the challenges faced by businesses, particularly in a climate of change, gives Julie a great perspective that enable her to really understand and deliver desired outcomes for her clients. Julie specialises in Leadership Programmes and has worked with many senior teams in the NHS, Financial Services, Utilities, Transport and Professional Services developing insight and strategy to enable them to take the business to the next level.

Mark Davies – GDPR
Whistl (Doordrop Media) Ltd, Managing Director
Mark is responsible for ensuring the growth of Whistl’s door drop business, formerly known as TNT Post. Prior to becoming Managing Director, Mark occupied several key sales roles at the company, which he joined in 2003. Before this Mark spent 10 years seeing the world in the travel and leisure industry and has lived and worked in Santa Barbara, Boston, Amsterdam and Barcelona.
Mark is President of ELMA (the European Letterbox Marketing Association), sits on the DMA Print Council and speaks regularly on the door drop industry both in the UK and across Europe. Mark is married with a daughter aged 9 and a five year old son and lives in Oxfordshire. He still enjoys travelling, writing and squash.

Jan Edgecombe – Colour management

Jan has more than 10 years’ experience installing solvent and aqueous large format printers with most of the popular proofing and production RIP software. So when it comes to achieving accurate repeatable colour, he has the experience to help you get the same.
His talk awill include a practical session using the VG540, Versaworks and ColorGate Rips and be based around the following topics. Rip settings for images and graphics. Files settings for Adobe. Media profile choices and the effects on output quality with demo printing. Ink saving – how to save ink. Printer process control with ColorGate and the i1Pro2 – practical demo.
