Welcome to The In‑house Creative & Print Alliance

Our aim is bold:

to create the ultimate support and networking hub for in‑house designers, photographers, videographers, print specialists and mailing professionals.

Across the UK, countless in‑plant operations don’t quite fit into associations built for fully commercial enterprises. If that sounds like you — if you work in‑house and want a community that truly understands your world — then The ICPA is where you belong.

We have in-plant in common.

Every in‑house team is unique, and so are our members. Their roles, challenges and influence may differ wildly, but they’re united by a shared mission: keeping work (and budgets) in‑house, delivering smarter savings, and championing the core activities that help their organisations thrive.

What truly sets The ICPA apart is the camaraderie. This is a network buzzing with connection and curiosity. We meet often to swap ideas, spotlight emerging opportunities, and showcase the incredible breadth of what in‑house teams can achieve. We explore trade shows together, tour each other’s in-plants, and come together each year to celebrate our wins at the Annual Conference.

And above all, we’ve got each other’s backs. Wrestling with a supplier issue, stuck on tender evaluation criteria, or exploring a brand‑new service offering? Whatever the challenge, honest, practical advice from seasoned peers is always just an email away.

Membership of The ICPA is FREE and a no-brainer

By joining us The ICPA, your institution can reclaim weeks of lost time, supercharge productivity, energise your teams and unlock major cost savings. With a thriving community of 100+ members cross England, Scotland and Wales, you’ll be joining a network of people who live and breathe in‑house creative and print excellence.

Membership opens the door to sector‑specific career development, gives you platforms to showcase the brilliant work you produce in‑house, and equips your teams to navigate the unprecedented challenges facing your teams with confidence and creativity.

Need to benchmark your service? Issues with your workflow? Struggling to set your costs? Need to prove your value and ROI versus outsourcing? We bring like-minded individuals together from across sectors and industries where competition is out and collaboration and sharing experiences are in.

Join the go‑to network for professionals powering print, media, creative and mailing operations across every sector.

Established and respected

We evolved from ACPME

For almost 30 years, ACPME (The Association of Creative + Print Managers in Education) bought  together internal service teams from HE and FE to share best practice, spark innovation, and elevate the strategic impact of in‑house operations. Members gained access to peer support, industry intelligence, benchmarking tools, professional development and events with leading commercial partners.

Those members still have the same great networking opportunities, the invitation to the networking event of the year and access to the shared resources – only now they have more of it.

As The ICPA — The In‑house Creative & Print Alliance — we’re widening our reach to welcome teams from government, charities, not‑for‑profits and corporate in‑plants.

Industry Partners – unlock exceptional ROI
