Conference postponed. New dates: 1–4 Nov 2020
Given the uncertain nature of the next few months, and in order to protect our members, suppliers and families we have made a decision to postpone the conference until Sunday 1 Nov – Wednesday 4 Nov 2020. This conference will still be held at Belton Woods and we will be working, where possible, with the same agenda.
This is an unprecedented move in the history of the membership, and I want to reassure you all that we do this with the welfare of ACPME members and supplier front of mind.
I understand there will be lots of questions to follow this announcement, and I just asked that you bear with us whilst we navigate this difficult set of circumstances. In the meantime, please email any queries directly to admin@acpme.ac.uk where will collate queries and provide some FAQs to share.
Best wishes,
Alison Freer, ACPME Chair
In these challenging times, ACPME are here for our members and suppliers. Staying in touch is more essential than ever. Indeed, we hope it will be a time the #ACPMEfamily comes together to strengthen links across institutions.
Under current Covid-19 restrictions, we can’t meet in person for our Board meetings. We are instead holding our Board meetings virtually – making quick and timely decisions. These have included postponing our conference until 1–4 November 2020 and extending the date for awards submissions until Tuesday 1 September 2020.
We plan to hold regular virtual meetings for our members over the coming weeks. Though currently a necessity for public health reasons, we hope these online meetings and discussion groups will increase the diversity of members who join in, making our network stronger than ever and generating ideas that we can feed in to our conference planning.
Please look after yourself, your teams, your families and remember to fully adhere to Government guidelines, to combat the spread of the virus. Stay safe and take care,
#ACPMEfamily
Welcome to ACPME
Welcome to ACPME. A dynamic network of creative and print managers from the UK Higher and Further Education sectors.
No two institutions are the same. Nor are any two of our member’s units. While the activities and influence of individual ACPME members vary greatly, we share common goals of keeping funds on campus, saving our institutions money and best supporting the core activities of teaching and learning and research.
There’s a tremendous camaraderie that defines our dynamic network. We meet regularly to share insights and to raise awareness of the depth and breadth of our interests. We attend trade shows together, visit each other’s inplants and celebrate successes every year at our Annual Conference.
Perhaps most importantly, we’re there for each other. Issues with suppliers, struggling to write tender evaluation criteria, thinking of offering a new service – you name it… candid help from experienced professionals is only ever an email away.
We’d like to thank our 2020 Platinum Sponsors

Annual conference
The highlight of the ACPME calendar
Every year we organise a three-day conference, usually starting the first Monday in June, moving the location around the UK. Typically there are around 20 suppliers who exhibit at the conference to 50–60 delegates. There’s a packed programme of topical presentations including speakers from overseas. The programme allows for ample networking and informal discussion between suppliers and delegates and provides developmental sessions to keep members informed of current trends across design and print.
